OS/2 Lotus Notes Disk Cataloguer (english) NDiskCat consists of a database template used to create the database where the disk cartalogue is stored, and a VX-Rexx program to scan disks and store the result in the database. The VX-Rexx executable is based on IBM's rexx API which interacts directly with the notes executable installed on the PC. Note that the API was designed for version 3 of notes. However, it works perfectly on my 4.6 Client and server, and I expect it also to perform well on a version 5, but I could not test this due to lack of such a version. Note that while I think the program is very useful to keep track of any file on any medium and scans virtually anything (including Harddisks and CD-ROM's), I have no plans for porting it to other operating systems. |

Files (eventually needed) | This application (exactly: NDISKCAT.EXE) needs the VX-Rexx runtime library VROBJ.DLL. If you don't have it already, get it from the CONFIGED page |
