Many people claim that they travel because they are interested in people and foreign cultures. Maybe this is really true and not just blurb. But you may say that people are the same all over the world. There are dumb ones, intelligent ones, friendly ones, some evil, and many more, like the more sceptical type like me (but that's another story...) So maybe your are fascinated more by envrironments and landscapes (which influence people a lot, by the way)?
